Couch Potato

I am sitting on the couch with exhaustion and satisfaction....I ran 7kms at the gym tonight..in 45mins and chose the random hilly mode...Its the longest I have run in a looooong time...I don't think I could do it without my ipod though....I am still not sure if I will make the half marathon but I am happy with the way I am going..i would like to think that i can run the C2S, but will see closer to the time......i really want to go the bloggers dinner......not sure if i can do both my will power isn't quite as willing as i would like...

I am counting / tracking my way back down the scales.....it feels good, nice to be in control and I wonder why i jumped of the wagon and stayed off for so long...

  • WOW - well done on your run Bron, that is great. And with that sort of workout you should have a really good shot at running the c2s. And I know what you mean about will power with the dinner. I am going, but know that as we are starting at 6.30 and I have munchkins, I will easily call it a day by 10.00. That should still give me enough sleep to want to get up the next morning and walk a long long way LOL.

Hmmm how about the drinking though? That could be my undoing.. Either way I hope to see you on the weekend. I will wave as you go shooting past me on the Sunday :D

Have a great weekend Bron x

  • (Blogger just stole my witty, well thought out comment - bugger)

    So:

    - great running
    - you will make the c2s seem easy
    - come to the dinner, you can leave early
    - the trick may be around the drinking bit
    - have a good weekend

    LOL :D

  • Well now it looks like I am a total idiot because when I posted the 2nd comment, the first appeared. Grrrr.

    I will leave now...

  • LOL at M :-P

Well, it looks like I'm the only one NOT doing the C2S so I could be the "devil in disguise" topping up your glasses without you knowing. But...of course I wouldn't do that and an early dinner definitely means an early night for everyone and I've planned for my partner to come and whisk me away at 9.30/10pm latest. I hope you come along!
